Elmstead Daytime Senior Care is classified as a social model of care. Our services include:

  • Assistance with activities of daily living (as needed)
  • Supervision and safety monitoring

What is a typical day?

At Elmstead, each day is intentionally designed to balance engagement, restoration, and individualized choice, supporting participants at every cognitive and physical level.

Each day is thoughtfully structured with a balance of:

Wellness & Energy Sessions-movement and stretching to reduce stress, support sensory engagement, and enhance emotional well-being

Elmstead Insights-current events, discussion, cognitive engagement

Expression Lounge-art, music, creativity

Social Dining- Nourishment, routine, and social connection

Who is eligible to enroll?

Elmstead is ideal for older adults who:

  • Live at home but would benefit from daytime support
  • Experience mild to moderate cognitive and physical challenges
  • Desire meaningful social interaction and enrichment
  • Need supervision in a safe, elevated setting
How much does Elmstead cost?

Pricing varies based on attendance. The per day cost is $160. Saturday is a shorter program day and costs $80. We are happy to discuss options and any available funding sources during your consultation.

When are you open?

Elmstead operates during convenient daytime hours to support both members and their families/caregivers. We are open Monday – Friday 8 AM to 4 PM and Saturday from 10 AM to 2 PM.

Do you offer transportation?

Transportation options may be available or coordinated depending on where you are located. Please contact us to discuss individual needs.

What type of funding does Elmstead accept?

We accept a variety of payment options, including private pay, VA benefits, and Long-Term Care insurance. We do not currently accept Medicaid or MLTC insurance. Please contact us to discuss your specific situation. We’re happy to help you find the best payment solution for your loved one.

Do you accommodate individuals with memory loss?

Yes. Elmstead is well-suited for individuals with mild to moderate memory impairment, offering structured routines and supportive engagement.

Can I tour Elmstead before enrolling?

Absolutely! We encourage tours so families can experience the environment, meet the team, and see the difference firsthand.
